The most influential women in my life are my mom, my mother in law, and my grandmother in law.

My MIL raised 5 wonderful boys, and my GIL lives with us and is such a wonderful source of help for our kids and a great inspiration just by her life.

My mom is wonderful in the fact that she escaped a revolution Hungary when she was 10, lived in Venezuela for almost 9 years, left because of pending revolutiona, then came to the United States, to Los Angeles, on the first day of the Watts Riots. Her life was amazing and inspiring.

without a shadow of a doubt, my mother, whom without, I just would not be the person I am today xxxx

And finally now a Twitter follower too!!!!

the most influential woman in my life has been my mum,
she has been through so much, abuse when she was a teen then she met my dad, my dad died when he was 41, she was 37; they had been together since she was 13, they were soulmates, i admire her strength and courage, uptil my dad passing she was a SAHM, she could have easily stayed home and crumbled, but she didnt, she took driving lessons, and passed her test then she went to college and then uni, she is now a qualified nurse. im so proud of her :)

my most influentual woman? my foster mother, she cared for me as a child after years of abuse at the hands of my own mum, and now at 28 she is always at the end of the phone if i need her, she's the one i can cry on the shoulder of, and she's a fountain of knowledge! she's fostered over 500 children in her time and she's in her 70's now and is still doing it! she has the biggest heart of overwhelming love, without her i wouldn't be the strong woman i am today, able to face any challenge and able to love my kids with all my heart and soul.x

I would say my great grandmother was most influential. She always a constant source of love and affection in my life. I loved all the times I spent at her home. Her unfaltering, unfailing devotion to my cranky great grandfather was a tribute to love long lasting. She is the person I think of most fondly whenever I think of my family.

The most influential woman in my life is my sister. She lives fearlessly and passionately. She follows her heart and her curiousity to wherever it may take her. I am too cautious to take such risks and invoke so many changes in my life but I admire her courageousness, curiousity, and explorative nature of people, relationships, and her world.

Most influential woman would have to be my mom. She survived breast cancer without closing her family daycare for even a day, she's a great do-it-yourselfer and maker-do, growing our veggies, sewing, and now in retirement taking up spinning and weaving. We live far from either extended family, but I would have loved to know my father's mother and aunt better too, they were also both greatly into art and gardening, two of my favourite things. Thanks!

If I have to choose just one, it would be my husband's grandmother. I only knew her a short time, as she passed away from cancer just 2 years after we married but in the short time I knew her, I met unconditional love. Never in my life has someone shown me what real love is, like she did. She lived it, daily, in EVERY.THING she did. I strive to be more and more like her but she's a very tough act to follow. She died almost 18 years ago and I can't even type this without tears because of the affect she had on my life.

The influential woman in my life would have to be my mother. She passed away 14 yrs ago at the age of 56 and I miss her dearly. But I am who I am because of her.

My college sociology professor was the first woman to believe in me and my intelligence. I gained confidence from her mentoring that has made me successful in ways I can't even know.

The most influential woman in my life is my late grandma. She was illetireta but could whip up a good dinner for 20 in just a snap. A dash here, a sprinkle there and she's done! I am always amazed at the vivaciousness for life and her energy. She killed a venomous snake when she was heavily pregnant, I was told! Superwoman! I muss her so much now that I'm married and am cooking more.

The most influential woman in my life has easily been my mom. She is a wonderful, loving, patient woman who can do ANYTHING she sets her mind to. She is a wonderful crafter and taught me to do many things. I will love her forever and can only hope to be half the woman she is!

I was most influenced by my mom, of course. Can't think of any other woman who had as much influence as she.
